Upcoming Military Family Movie Party
Each year in April, our local communities get together to recognize the official “Month of the Military Child.” The goal is to recognize the important role that military children play because when a service member puts on a uniform, the whole family is being asked to serve...even the children. Children serve by enduring long separations from their parents, numerous school transitions, and many other unique challenges. As a result, they often are called upon to overcome adversity and demonstrate maturity beyond their years. Their strength, courage and optimism should be an inspiration to each and every one of us!
This year, through the generous support of the Think Melissa Team (www.ThinkMelissa.com) and Silverton Mortgage, a FREE “Military Family Movie Party” will be held at NCG Theater in Acworth, GA on Saturday, April 21, at 9 AM. Four fun movies will be presented for military families to choose from, and admission, drinks and popcorn all will be FREE for attendees! The event is open to those currently serving as well as veterans and retirees.
Please register to attend by using the online link https://tinyurl.com/MOMC2018MovieParty by April 18, to reserve your spot. Mark your calendars for what is sure to be a fabulous event!
