Sandy Springs PD Honor Guard Participates in DEA Event
The Sandy Springs Police Department’s Honor Guard posted the colors at the annual training for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Diversion Section.
This event is conducted annually in different cities, and Atlanta was the host city for 2018. The event took place at the American Hotel Atlanta Downtown – A Doubletree by Hilton.
Attendees included various ranking members of the DEA from all over the United States and D.C., as well as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, BJay Pak.
Sergeant Andrew Spears (Honor Guard Commander), Officer Leon Millholland (Rifleman), Officer Hailey Hunt (DEA Colors), Officer Craig Manne (United States of America Colors) and Officer Kevin Smith (Rifleman), all from Sandy Springs Police Department, made up the Honor Guard at this event.
Members of the Sandy Springs Police Department Honor Guard were presented with a Certificate of Appreciation at the closing of the event.
SSPD Honor Guard members for this event consisted of: Sergeant Andrew Spears (Honor Guard Commander); Officer Leon Millholland (Rifleman); Officer Hailey Hunt (DEA Colors); Officer Craig Manne (United States of America Colors); and Officer Kevin Smith (Rifleman).
